Accommodation on the ship is all inclusive. This will include your meals and tours that you go around. You will be served meals aboard the ship and they usually will be in an open buffet style. Based on the type of cruise ship that you have opted for you can have meals that provide a small as well as a large variety of food. Meals aboard the ship are served at a fixed time. Breakfast and tea are also served in the morning and evening respectively at fixed times.

The nightlife on a cruise ship is as exciting as what you can have in the city. Every day you are on the ship, some or the other program will be organized for the guests. On the first evening of the trip, there is usually a cocktail which is hosted by the captain and hence also called as the “Manager’s Party”.  During this party, the manager introduces his crew to the guests. Remember that you need to dress in your formals at this party. There is another party called as the “Galabia Party”. In this party the guests are requested to wear the local dress of “Galabia”, some games are conducted on board and the whole party is run by the tour guides on board the cruise ship. Then you can see the Nubian show during which you will be able to see the Nubian dancers in their local outfits. There are jugglers and belly dancers as well as local singers with their bands to keep you entertained too.

The Egyptians have a custom of tipping, so much so that most of the working class earns nearly 60% of their wages from tips. So when you leave, it is recommended that you do tip the crew. Tips can be given on board the ship by placing the money in an envelope or also at the boat reception.
